Rest assured, we will never rent or sell your information to a third party.

Personal Information That We Collect:
While using the website www.WanderingWayRetreats.com and the booking portal, we collect personal information necessary to provide exemplary service and communications. Additionally, we collect data relevant to your usage of the website. 

This information includes:
  • Information that is provided to Wandering Way Retreats voluntarily, such as name, email address, and contact information.
  • Information on booking forms and lease agreements, including name, address, phone numbers, and other information used to create a booking, through our booking portal OwnerRez.
  • Information and data related to credit card payments is processed by Stripe on a secure website linked to ours and they have their privacy policy https://stripe.com/privacy.
  • Data and analytics information, including browser used, IP address, mobile device identifier details, geographic location, the time a visitor accessed the website, pages viewed, and other analytics data we use to understand our audience and their behaviors on our website. 
  • If you use any connected Meta or other Messenger systems on our website, these systems may use and share your personal Facebook information, including your Facebook profile and profile photo and/or Whatsapp phone number. Your privacy on any Meta or other messenger systems is subject to the privacy policies of those entities.
Communications
  • Current guests of Wandering Way Retreats will receive communications via email and/or text related to your reservation, including confirmation details, payment details, cancellation notices, directions, and other information related to your stay.
  • Past Guests with whom Wandering Way Retreats has had a relationship may receive marketing communications through email or SMS from time. 
  • We may contact you to ask for your input on reviews, surveys or other forms of research, but these contacts will be limited. 
Shared Information
  • Wandering Way Retreats will only share information with third-party vendors with your direct consent. For example, if a Guest has requested for us to connect them with a third-party vendor or to purchase services from a third-party vendor on their behalf in connection with their booking (e.g., an insurance provider or activities provider), then this information may be shared with the third party to coordinate booking. Third-party vendors are not controlled by Wandering Way Retreats and personal information shared with them is subject to their privacy policies and practices.
  • Wandering Way Retreats will share information to further public safety and compliance with the law. Upon receipt of legal process or upon a valid official request from a government entity Wandering Way Retreats will disclose information to the courts, law enforcement, or other governmental authorities as required by law. This disclosure will be done if such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with legal process, to respond to verified requests regarding a criminal investigation, to administer agreements with the users of our service, for fraud investigation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wandering Way Retreats, its employees, customers, and members of the public. 
  • Wandering Way Retreats will not sell, rent, lease, or share your personal information with any other parties. The information we gather is used as outlined above and in the exchanges required as part of the property rental process.
Opt-Out 
  • All marketing emails that Wandering Way Retreats sends will contain the ability to “unsubscribe” or “opt-out” following the CAN-SPAM Act. To unsubscribe, you may click an unsubscribe link in the email footer or request by emailing us at [email protected].
  • You may choose to turn off all cookies by adjusting your browser settings, e.g., Chrome. Each browser varies, so review your preferred browser’s Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookie preferences.

Terms And Conditions: 
CANCELLATION POLICY - For OTA (online travel agency) reservations (e.g. Vrbo, TripAdvisor) - There is a strict NO REFUND CANCELLATION POLICY. For Owner-Direct reservations (e.g.  Houfy.com/3204, www.DreamsComeTrueCottage.com, or direct-to-owner) - Guest will receive a refund if the property is successfully re-rented.  The amount refunded will be reduced by the difference between the original rent amount and the new rental amount, if lower.  Additionally, the original credit card processing fee and a $50 administrative fee will be deducted from the refund.  Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay forfeit the full advance payment.  Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund. Travel insurance is not required, but is recommended to all guests to protect against cancellation costs.
We reserve the right to cancel your reservation for reasons listed in our lease agreement. To review a copy of our most recent agreement, you may request it by emailing us before you book. 
This Privacy Policy is not a legal contract and does not facilitate or represent any legal rights or obligations.
